WE HAVE A NEW WEBSITE:


Thank you so much for visiting our website! We have rebranded and now have a new business name and website. We are so excited to share this exciting news and our journey with all of you.

As some of you may know, we got engaged in August of 2016 under a gorgeous waterfall in Big Sur, California. We always knew that the day would come when we would change our business name (since Katie Guth is becoming Katie DeGroot among other reasons!), and we're thrilled that this day has finally arrived! So, here we are, formally introducing you to DeGroot Film Co.! :)

We worked long and hard to build our new brand and website, catering to the style and wedding vibes that we can't get enough of. It has been a long journey together starting with just wedding photography and then beginning to offer videography as well. We have traveled the country together capturing precious moments for so many love stories. You guys give us life!

So, we want to THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for following our journey and for always supporting us! With that being said, you can stay up to date with our work and contact us through our new website.

The Whimsical Wedding Giveaway | The Landing 1841 Wedding | Burlington Videographer | Burlington Photographer

Last year, Devin & I decided to give back to the community in a huge way. We wanted to create an incredible wedding giveaway for one lucky & deserving couple. We found Krista of Weddings With a Twist & began planning. After finding an incredible team of vendors, the giveaway was ready to go public! We were so thrilled & excited to find the perfect couple to offer a $25,000 wedding to. 

Amy & Lindsey were the winners of the first The Whimsical Wedding Giveaway. We met them the morning after they were notified to surprise Lindsey with the news. It was an amazing feeling to see how thankful these two were for this incredible gift!
